Site Preparation: Prior to the actual pool being dug, it is very important that all important landscape material that is to be saved be marked and irrigation rerouted around the pool. Often, it is necessary to pre-grade the yard and take out unwanted landscape material, concrete, and masonry that will be in the pool area.
Inspection: We evaluate factors such as access, sunlight, drainage, and proximity to existing structures. We then prepare the site by marking the pool's outline and ensuring proper grading and levelling.
Excavation: Our skilled excavation team will carefully dig the hole for your fibreglass pool, ensuring accurate dimensions and proper soil compaction. Any debris or excess soil will be removed from the site to maintain a clean and safe work area.
Fibreglass Pool Delivery and Placement: Your custom-made fibreglass pool, crafted with the highest-quality materials, will be delivered to your site. Using specialized equipment such as cranes, we carefully maneuver the pool into position, ensuring precise alignment and a perfect fit.
Note: The process for installing a vinyl liner pool vs a fibreglass pool slightly differ.
Vinyl Liner Pool Wall and Frame Assembly: Our skilled technicians expertly install the steel or polymer walls and frames, ensuring structural integrity and longevity. Great attention is given to the alignment and securing of these components to create a solid foundation for the vinyl liner.
Plumbing and Electrical Installation: Our professional plumbers and electricians will meticulously install the necessary plumbing and electrical systems required for your pool. This includes connecting water lines, installing filtration systems, and ensuring the proper functioning of underwater lighting and other electrical components.
Backfilling and Compaction: To provide stability and support to your fibreglass pool, we backfill the surrounding area using a combination of gravel and soil. Each layer is carefully compacted to create a solid foundation for your
pool.
Concrete Collar: It is imperative every fibreglass and vinyl liner pool have concrete poured all the way around the outer edge of the pool. What this does is stabilize the pool and keep it in place while also giving the coping a strong foundation upon which to be laid. The collar is 30" wide and 8" deep
Vinyl Liner Pool Concrete Floor: We first start laying down a 3-inch layer of M30 concrete as the base. The following day, after the first coat dries, we then apply a 2-inch layer of concrete sand mix using trowels. This provides support and creates a soft-smooth layer for the vinyl liner to rest on.
Vinyl Liner Installation: After ensuring that the perimeter barriers meet the necessary code requirements, we will proceed with scheduling a final inspection as mandated by the city. Once the inspection has been successfully completed and approved, we can move forward with the installation of the vinyl liner and commence filling the pool with water.
Filtration System and Equipment: Our team of skilled plumbers adheres to a meticulous plan for the precise positioning of pool equipment, ensuring that each feature, pool return, and drain is strategically placed according to specifications.
Water Filling and Pool Start-Up: With the installation complete, we fill your pool with water and ensure proper chemical balance to kickstart your swimming experience. Our team will educate you on the pool equipment, maintenance requirements, and provide you with a maintenance schedule to keep your pool in tip-top shape.
Barriers: If you have not yet made your home and yard safe by installing the necessary barriers, now is a good time to install these items. If barriers are included in your project then your construction coordinator will handle this for you.
